In a 2nd day of test Cheteshwar Pujara scored a remarkable 193-run knock for india while Rishabh Pant impressed with 159 (not out) as India declared their first innings at scored 622/7 on the second day of the fourth Test against Australia team in Sydney ground on Friday. Australia openers Marcus Harris (19*) and Usman Khawaja (5*) survived 10 overs from Indian bowling and took the home team to 24 for no loss at stumps, 598 runs behind India’s first innings total.

The number one-ranked Indian Test team now currently leads the 4-match series by 2-1 against Australia cricket team. Australia have three complete days to save this Test series. Resuming the Indian innings from overnight 303/4, India continued to dominate the Day 2 at the SCG.

For India Cheteshwar Pujara remained solid for 40 overs on Day 2 and established partnership stands with Hanuma Vihari and Rishabh Pant. While Vihari contributed with a 42-run knock.Australian bowler Nathan Lyon was the only wicket-taking bowler on Day 2 as he claimed three wickets in Hanuma Vihari (42), Ravindra Jadeja (81) and Cheteshwar Pujara (193) for his team.
